October Learning

The students have Shops to begin the week, and will be participating in the Artists in the Schools program five times this week as they practice drama with instruction from our talented “Artist in Residence” Oct. 22 - 26.  Stop by Friday afternoon to check out their work.

We Day will be our first field trip of the year on October 30th.  Thank you for the drivers who already volunteered.  We have an one spot left for an interested driver.

The students have been playing PAX games to increase  peace, productivity, health and happiness i. the classroom, having earned 160 PAX minutes since we began tracking minutes of focus,  Having earned a class-determined (by vote) prize of pizza and a movie, the students will not need to bring a lunch on Tuesday (just a snack) and pizza will be provided.  The movie will begin in class and continue into the lunch hour for interested students.
