Students presented their pitches for Genius Hour projects this week. The steps thus far have been:

1) Choose a passion project

2) Research options for investigation

3) Determine how to present the learning at the end of the project

4) Clear the topic with Mrs. Butterfield

5) Pitch the topic to classmates for their support and suggestions; provide written support and feedback to one student, as assigned.

6) Review the rubric for elements of the project that will be evaluated

7) Use the design process to do the investigation

8) Do peer evaluation using written form

9) Continue investigation

10) Prepare presentation of your project (PowerPoint, Speech, Display, Two-page report with additional illustrations and images - at least two)

The diversity of the projects have much promise, and the students' enthusiasm for research and learning drives the projects.
